NightSide Magick is often viewed as being dark or evil in aspect. The truth is that all magick is grey. How you employ NightSide magick, and what form it takes is a matter for your ethics.

When you seek to walk on the NightSide in your magickal workings, you are stepping beyond the clearly marker path of its’ DaySide sibling. On one hand you must suspend your belief in reality, then with the other hand reach deep into the primal abyss of the sub-conscious. Yet, this is only the first step on a long path of study and practice.

Whereas with the DaySide formula, we request and command energies to bend to our will, with the NightSide formula you must entice the enerigies to alow you to submerge with them. This requires the ability to let go of your ego and enter a trance state of self possession. The danger here (as with any form of trance work) is being able to reclaim your ego and return to reality.
